Project Description
This project transformed a tired 1960s dwelling into a contemporary family home through a carefully designed double-storey side and rear extension combined with a full internal reconfiguration.
The new extensions significantly increased the home’s footprint, introducing two generous additional bedrooms at first floor level while maintaining a balanced and modern external appearance. Clean rendered finishes, dark window frames and a refined entrance canopy give the property a crisp architectural identity in contrast to its original form.
Internally, the layout was completely remodelled to prioritise light, flow and modern living. A spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area now forms the heart of the home, seamlessly connecting to the garden through a 6-metre-wide set of bifolding doors. This creates a strong indoor-outdoor relationship ideal for family life and entertaining.
The project delivers a bright, efficient and future-proofed home — maximising space, modernising the building fabric and transforming a dated property into a high-quality contemporary residence.
